The Katka rock stabilization project was one of the largest projects we performed. The original contract value of this project was $10,000 for 3 days but due to continuous rock slides, the client chose to have us stabilize the entire area, the project lasted almost a year. This large-scale project involved drilling and grouting over 6 miles of rock dowels and installing over 40,000sf of Tecco rock stabilization wire mesh system. We shot over 300 yards of Shotcrete for concrete footings and shotcrete reaction blocks. The job was in a remote location which could only be accessed by train or boat.
